ORVILLE MOORE, 86, JAMESBURG

Orville B. Moore, 86, formerly of Jamesburg, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y. Born in Jamesburg, Mr. Moore was a lifelong resident of Jamesburg until moving to Syracuse in 2003. Mr. Moore was employed for 43 years by the George W. Helme Co., Helmetta, retiring in 1985 as a foreman. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a communicant and usher at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. He was predeceased by his wife, Florida (Binnette) Moore, in 2002; his brother, Rev. Lawrence Moore, and his sister, Laura Scott. He is survived by his daughter, Therese Nelson of Syracuse; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Raelene, Jadalynn and Justin Nelson. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 13, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg. Burial will be at Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visiting hours for family and friends will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
